No Spill Cup Developed by Young Entrepreneur Pair

Indiegogo push will fund production of this gravity-enabled project

Herndon, VA -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/07/2014 -- Two 13 year old youthful entrepreneurs put their brains together to design the No Spill Cup which is made for children and families around the nation. The young men share their passion for making products that enhance lives while keeping the environment clean. The unlikely pair created their company, DI Designs, and they are now set to launch their first Eco-friendly product.

The idea came to them when they realized that people spend a lot of time cleaning up spills, or keeping beverage drinkers off of new, light-colored or clean furniture and carpets. For example, one of their friend’ sisters, a five-year old child, spilled her milk three times in one day. After this girls mom got angry, Palash and Luke though to themselves,”Why does this have to happen? Can’t there be a solution to this?”

What they have in mind is to put a product on the market that is designed to never leak and spare people from cleaning up spills. Their non-leak system is made with a squeezable, softer material, allowing the cup to be more flexible. And when a child squeezes the cup just enough, it will allow the spring-loaded mechanism to open up the cup’ seal, so anyone can drink its contents. When your child drops the bottle, no liquid will spill out, because there is not any pressure around the cup. Not even the force of the cup hitting the ground will make you clean up another mess!

The success of this campaign will help fund production of the product.
