Calgary, AB -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/10/2016 -- Ranchers' Rise Spring Celebration, a family-friendly event established to raise awareness locally for the community of Ranchers' Rise, Okotoks, will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
A spokesperson for the event, which is jointly sponsored by Okotoks Dawgs Baseball Club and Broadview Homes, said the event will act as a platform for the introduction of two new showhomes by Broadview Homes in the existing phase 10 parade.
"This family celebration is meant to bring the community, our customers and people, who may want to build a home in Okotoks, together," said Vice President Peter-John Woolf. Guests will also be able to meet members from the Okotoks Dawgs team and Diggity, the Dawgs' mascot, will make an appearance at the event.
With the event centered around Dawgs Baseball, all family members, including dogs are welcome to attend. There will be tie outs, water bowls, dog-friendly cupcakes, and Doggie Bags with treats especially for them available.
Guests can take part in activities, including a scavenger hunt. A dog-related item is hidden in each show home for families to find. Once finished, guests can enter their name into a gift card draw, and each child can get a Treat bag for finishing.
The Ranchers' Rise Spring Celebration is another way to bring residents and visitors together.
