Inc., a leader in lead shielding, radiation shielding technology, lead material, and lead fabrication services, announced today the receipt of an order from the University of California, Davis. The lead shielding products will be fabricated per CAD file and blue prints provided by the university; and the molds are specially designed in a 3 dimensional manner. They will be used in a chemical process environment, and tolerances are extremely critical.

All of the Nuclead Co. Inc. items for the project will be delivered in one release by the end of the calendar year.

Custom shaped lead shielding is built into the design of the machine or apparatus, hence the need for close tolerances and machining of the lead products. Nuclead has the capability to specially fabricate custom lead shielding to client specifications and depending on their needs. This capability will be a key factor in the successful completion of this order and is one of the reasons why the University of California, Davis placed the order with Nuclead.

Materials for neutron shielding and nuclear shielding are also available and can be designed and built per customer specifications.
