VisiInc PLC National Research Reveals Australians Embrace E-health Personal Health Records

Perth, Western Australia -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/05/2011 -- VisiInc PLC (VZJ) (http://www.deutsche-boerse.com) have released a National Australian survey showing public confidence in security will boost E-health uptake, just days after VisiInc announced their acquisition of VIA3.

The USD$16 million scrip deal to acquire USA company VIA3 will deliver a powerful combined technology of 3D real time collaboration, voice and video conferencing, an ultra-secure platform and marks a major push into Australian E-health market. The acquisition is timely with a national Australian opinion survey revealing that the uptake of E-health could be considerably higher if security issues are addressed.

In June 2011 VisiInc PLC entered into an agreement to launch MMRGlobal’s patented consumer and professional health IT products and services, including MMRPro for healthcare professionals (http://www.mmrprovideos.com) and the MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record (PHR) (http://www.mmrvideos.com), on the Visi™ platform utilizing the Vistime product.

The survey fieldwork was carried out by respected pollster UMR on September 26, of 1,000 people aged 18, and was weighted and matched with ABS census data to ensure a nationally representative sample (Full survey results are attached).

The survey results were a strong endorsement for E-health.

There is a very strong support for E-health at 67% and this only get stronger when the patient can control who has access to it (up 7% to 74%) and stronger again at 80% when health records can be accessed anywhere in Australia.

It is clear that Australian people embrace E-health as the way to go and as each point of concern is addressed, support just gets stronger.

Support for a personal E-health account to store your own records is very strong with 68% of people supporting the concept.

“Clearly there is a market for nationwide system of E-health records and also a demand for secure personal record systems controlled by the individual themselves.

VisiInc and our licensed MYMEDICALRECORDS.COM, can fill both of these market segments. VisiInc is a leader in the area with some of the smartest technology. We aim to be a major player in the Australian E-health market. Our international experience and intimate understanding of the Australian psyche and health care system will position us well for strong growth,” Said Jacques Blandin, CEO and Founder of VisiInc PLC.

In acquiring VIA3, the VisiInc PLC offering will significantly accelerate their Australian E-health market thrust as well as fast track numerous global projects relating to health, medical, aerospace, engineering, geosciences, mining and education markets.

The addition of via3 to the suite of Visi products will expand existing product offerings for both companies, as well as enable Visi to access new markets. The synergies between the businesses will bring benefits to our valued customers and partners.

VisiInc PLC is seeking to substantially expand its revenues and this acquisition marks the commencement of its growth strategy.

The VisiInc platform is the next evolution in visual communication, and is capable of delivering solutions in both the physical and virtual environment in 3D.

With Vistime and VIA3, our combined offering includes unlimited presentations, application sharing, training, whiteboard sessions or demos and instant voice and video conferencing previously not possible in one real time collaboration and conferencing product. VisiInc is currently in trial discussions in both Europe and Eastern Europe with major medical groups.
