The evening started with a delicious buffet spread along with staff serving from several live cooking stations.

The countdown dance party was held on our pristine beaches, this clear starry night. A live band performance and a DJ kept the guests well entertained.

Blue bracelets were given to guests as party favours as they danced the night away.

As the New Year draws near, a fire show revealing the words "Good Bye 2011" came alit, while simultaneously a spectacular display of blue lights displaying "Welcome 2012" ushered in the New Year.

Opening of Velassaru’s New Library
