In a move that brings Board-Certified Urologists fromHackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) to the Pascack Valley area, Old Hook Medical Associates (OHM) announced today that Richard Watson, MD and Jennifer Yates, MD are now part of the Old Hook Medical team.
Dr. Richard Watson brings to the care of each of his patients more than 40 years of expertise in the comprehensive treatment of various urological conditions. In addition to his practice at HUMC, Dr. Watson is Professor of Urology at the UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School and Adjunct Associate Professor of Urology at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Colonel Watson served for over 25 years as a urologist on active duty in the US Army; he has been awarded the Army Legion of Merit.
Dr. Jennifer Yates' area of expertise is the laparoscopic and robotic management of urologic malignancies, including prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, and adrenal cancer. In addition, she has extensive experience and training in the minimally-invasive treatment of urinary stone disease and benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), including laser prostate surgery.
Both physicians will see and treat patients at OHM for conditions including prostate gland enlargement, recurrent urinary tract infections, blood in the urine and female incontinence. The doctors will also treat erectile dysfunction and perform vasectomies.
