Atlanta, GA -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/30/2010 -- stuff4GREEKS.com, a company most widely known for designing elaborate fraternity and sorority apparel, co-sponsored the 2010 Atlanta Greek Picnic Stroll Competition held on Saturday, June 19th at Morris Brown College.

The winning teams of the stroll competition - a group of men representing Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc from the University of South Florida, and a group of ladies representing Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. from Atlanta – each walked away with $1000. Half of the prize money was provided by stuff4GREEKS, the other half from event organizers.

Ethan Kwame, co-founder and CEO of stuff4GREEKS, says “We were happy to be a part of this event. Fraternities and sororities often get negative attention in the media, but Atlanta Greek Picnic weekend has been a fun, positive experience for several years.” “We wanted to reward these steppers who put so much energy and passion into Greek life,” says Kwame. “It’s the same passion that we put into the clothing we make.”

Since 2004, Atlanta Greek Picnic Weekend has grown to become the flagship social event for members of historically black fraternities and sororities. Over 10,000 Greeks from around the country converge in Atlanta, Georgia, to participate in various activities including step shows, picnics, parties, and community service.
