Sms Varanasi Going to Organize National Conference on “Management of Innovation in Business and Technology: New Strides”

 

Varanasi, U.P -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/26/2010 -- School of Management Sciences Varanasi is organizing a national conference on the topic Management of Innovation in Business and Technology: New Strides on 19-20 Feb 2011. 16 th PGDMs Orientation programme held at SMS Varanasi

New session of PGDMs programme began at SMS on 22 July. Academician and industry stalwarts gave blessing to all students.SMS Varanasi welcomes each of the newly admitted students with a sense of warmth in its lush green and serene atmosphere endowed with a building of architectural marvel. The orientation programme began with the lightning of lamp at the altar of goddess Saraswati and garlanding of her statue by the chief guest Mr. S.K.Saxena, Special Secretary, Delhi Government, Guest of Honour Prof Asim Mishra, Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and Distinguished Guest of the programme Prof P.Das Gupta, IIFT, New Delhi. The director of the institute Prof P.N.Jha greeted the newly admitted students with his blessings and exhorted the students to strive for academic excellence, personal values and social concern. Prof K.M.Pandey (Former Registrar BHU) had also congratulated the students on this auspicious occasion.

On the one front Director of the institute had congratulated the students for their journey of two years and other front Guest had discussed the corporate expectations from the new generation of Management graduates. Maintaining the corporate ethics in adverse situations, need of participative management, innovation in business and academic practices and application of ancient Indian wisdom in modern management has been the major input for students out of orientation programme.

In this way students got a chance to interact with the industrial vanguards and the world class academicians and the trainers invited from the top industrial houses and the institutions of repute.
