The founder of WarCat Toys Paul is looking to raise $50,000 via Kickstarter to create DC Deadbeats, collectible figurines of zombie politicians. The figurine series will be a great collection for anyone that loves zombies and dislikes politicians.
Plattsmouth, NE -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/04/2014 -- These days, many people are completely irritated with the political scenario around them. People talk about the politicians, write about them, and share their opinions on politicians almost every single day. WarCat Toys thinks this is not enough, and they have come up with a new, innovative way to display a common man's dislike for his least liked politician.
The DC Deadbeats figurine collection will comprise of the Zombama figurine, Hillary Rotten figurine, Necro Nancy figurine, Harry Feed figurine, and Joe Bitin' figurine. The backers of this project will have the opportunity to influence the design process for DC Deadbeats. WarCat Toys wants their backers to suggest what they should make next. New characters, stories, and concepts will be sent to the backers for them to vote on.
Paul is the founder and CEO of WarCat Toys. It has taken him six months to design and build the figurines, develop a compelling story, and establish his network of resources. The current objective for Paul is to take his prototypes to production. The company has already teamed up with a manufacturing company of repute. All funds received from Kickstarter will be spent on tooling and production costs related to this project.
Though the primary objective of this campaign is to complete the production of the first five figurines by WarCat Toys, the company wishes to progress far beyond just five figurines. A number of stretch goals has been created with the objective of creating new figurines, comics, and additional swag.
The funding goal for this campaign is $50,000, and it will come to an end on December 24, 2014.
