Even the Cadillac Escalade came in second, which is sure to surprise many. In fact, the only category where Lexus didn't come in first was in the luxury compact crossover, but it came in a respectable second. The new NX 200t launched four weeks ago and came in second in this category, only one point behind first place.

Depreciation remains the largest expense drivers face in the first five years they own a car.
