Camp Mah Kee Nac's Walter Synalovski Honored by Massachusetts Community

Camp Mah Kee Nac is a summer camp for children where Walter Synalovski has earned distinguished honors from his local community for his tireless dedication and commitment.

San Francisco, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/09/2015 -- Summer camp is a time for children to get out of their heads and start using their hands, leaving academia behind to look at developing other skills and abilities. Camp Mah Kee Nac in Massachusetts has committed to diversifying the way students can do this, and director Walter Synalovski has campers participate in team and individual sports, lake and pool activities, outdoor adventure, arts & creativity and even carpentry. The camp has been so successful that the local community has honored Synalovski for his contributions.

Overseen by Walter Synalovski Camp Mah Kee Nac has provided sports and activities in an educational and social environment where children can learn and grow as well as develop their independence and social skills. The camp has been running since 1929 but has gone from strength to strength under Walter Synolvski's leadership.

The local community recently joined together to honor Walter Synalovski's contributions to the camp over his many years in service, including his recent initiative to break a world record by running the longest baseball game of all time. Walter's aim was to create a unique experience for children from all backgrounds, and the community feel he has gone above and beyond to accomplish this.

A spokesperson for Camp Mah Kee Nac explained, "Walter Synalovski is perhaps our greatest asset, as his leadership and strategic direction has ensured the camp's continued success and sustainable growth, allowing more children to take part without drastically increasing our foot print or our impact on the local landscape. We have also been able to make the most of that landscape thanks to his imagination and creativity in designing activities. As such, we were delighted when the local community announced they would be honoring Walter, as we too feel it is richly deserved."
