Beginning as a heat treat helper, then as a welder, machine operator, supervisor, quality control analyst, General Forman, and finally Superintendent of Motor Grader with specific expertise on the 24 H – the world largest motor grader.

Curtis is a college graduate from The University of Illinois at Springfield, Illinois (the old Sangamon State University) he also attended Richland community college and was a Phi Theta Sigma before moving on to complete his education. Curtis has been married for over 38 years to the love of his life Mrs. Jane E. Johnson, they are both retired and they had three kids (one deceased) they enjoy helping their kids and their grandkids be the best that they can be.
