Natalie Del Favero Launches Kickstarter Project for Her New Children's Book "The Quaint and Quizzical Cosmos"

Crowdfunding is sought to print and publish the first in a rhyming children's book series that tackles human origins starting with the Big Bang.

San Francisco, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/18/2015 -- Inspired by her own experiences exposing young students to the love of reading in Los Angeles, Ms. Del Favero decided to start The Quaint and Quizzical Cosmos series to introduce deep human history to kids in a fun and whimsical way. As a scientist and teacher, she brings a unique perspective to the knowledge gaps in early child development and, perhaps more importantly, she knows what youngsters like.

For centuries, adults have pondered one of the most important philosophical questions; where did we come from? A lot of us have heard of The Big Bang or the famous Lucy Australopith skeleton. But how is it all connected? The Quaint and Quizzical Cosmos puts it all together in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-enjoy way by creating a timeline for human evolution, starting as far back as the origin of the atoms and elements that make up our bodies.

Ms. Del Favero hopes to instill the knowledge and sense of awe that comes with understanding our distant ancestry to children from all walks of life. She has a deep passion for science, and she intends to spread her curiosity to as many kids as possible.

Everyone is encouraged to back Natalie's Kickstarter project; sufficient crowdfunding support will allow her to pursue her mission to provide science education to the children of today and tomorrow.

While the eBook edition is expected to be published to the Kindle platform this month, crowdfunding is sought to produce paperback versions of the book that will allow for broader distribution so that more kids can be reached – and taught.

This crowdfunding campaign ends on March 17th, 2015.
