Dumelow International Are Overjoyed About the Government's Latest Announcements Regarding Long-Term Plans to Support Farming and Food Production

Reading, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/27/2015 -- In recent agricultural news, the UK government have unveiled a long-term plan to pump more money into the farming and food-growth sector, and farming industry experts Dumelow are ecstatic by the push towards the home-grown in Britain.

During a speech at the National Farmers Union conference held in Birmingham a week ago, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Elizabeth Truss commented that the food-growth and farming industry is contributing £100 billion each year and employing 1 in 8 people - and has huge potential to deliver further jobs and growth.'

She revealed that the new plan will address four key priorities: supporting the growth and survival of the industry, creating new sales channels both within the UK and abroad, amending EU regulations to allow farmers and food producers' greater opportunities to establish themselves and begin to thrive, and finally enforcing stricter regulations regarding plant and animal protection and disease-prevention.

This scheme will include a multitude of implements and regimes including backing more apprenticeships and increasing university degree opportunities right across the food-production industry in order to ensure people are inspired and eventually expert in the area; opening more than 600 new global sales channels as far reaching as China and the States; pushing school and NHS food sources to be of a higher quality, and working on a way to eliminate diseases such as Bovine TB within the next 20 years or so.

Alongside this plan, the government is introducing support across the British countryside, including water grants for filtration dams and seepage barriers and the Common Agricultural Policy Reform to help to improve the quality of the rural areas and thus the food being grown and produced upon it.

This is brilliant news for agricultural fanatics such as Dumelow International, a British company who have dedicated 19 years to the restoration of the industry-renowned Massey Fergusson tractors and agricultural machinery.

A spokesman for Dumelow enthused"This invested interest in supporting and developing Britain's agricultural industry will help to regenerate Britain's traditional, self-sufficient, home-grown industry back to life. We are delighted by the reinvigoration of farming across the country, and can't wait to be a part of the big push."
