Peugeot has announced that its Partner van is to get a facelift with a revised look and a raft of new technology. The restyled nose gives it the same family look as the latest Peugeot car range with a smart chrome surround to the grille and new headlights.

Moving inside, there's an impressive array of kit. All models come with a hill-start assist system and a tyre-pressure warning device. The higher-spec S versions have the option of Active City Braking to help prevent low-speed collisions. Moving up to the SE adds cruise control and a speed limiter, while the Professional gets an integrated TomTom sat-nav along with smartphone connectivity.

Also new are two Euro 6 BlueHDI diesel engines which reduce harmful nitrogen oxide emissions by using an additive. The 99bhp engines also have a stop-start system, allowing them to produce a lower CO2 output. The older diesel engines from the previous Partner will still be available until mid-2016, and there's also the option of a 1.6 petrol or fully electric version.
