The story of 'A Philosophy of Ruin' will revolve around a Civil Engineer who somehow got involved in the death of a young lady. As per the requirements of the new law, he was handed over to the girl's family for punishment. However, the agonizing story will unfold in a way not expected by many.

Murphy feels that this movie has the potential to be turned into a blockbuster. Unfortunately, his team does not have the financial capability to produce a feature length movie that would do justice to the story. However, with a little bit of funding assistance, they are planning to create a forty-minute short film that Murphy is confident will keep any audience glued to the edge of their seat.

A Kickstarter campaign has just been launched to raise $19,500 for the completion of the short film. Proceeds from this campaign will cover the expenses for props, costuming, rigs, better sound equipment, lighting, and film festival submissions. If the funding exceeds the campaign goal by a long margin, Murphy intends to transition the project from a short film to a feature length film.
