San Diego, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/28/2015 -- Strikes For Kids is proud to announce the details surrounding the upcoming Kaiser Permanente Strikes For Kids SD Bowling Classic Event. The noted non-profit organization Strikes For Kids specializes in coordinating sporting events to help bring together local communities. The organization plans on doing just that in San Diego this July when they host their annual charity bowling event which will be open to people of all ages and bowling skill levels.

The Kaiser Permanente Strikes For Kids SD Bowling Classic Event will take place on Tuesday July 21 2015 at the Poway Fun Bowl in Poway, California. Registration begins at 5:30 pm, followed by a bowling session and a silent auction. The event will be hosted by the San Diego Chargers standout Jason Verrett, who will be joined by several of his teammates. The charity event is benefitting the Strikes For Kids Giveaway Program in which 22 Verrett All-Star children from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego will be awarded a $100 shopping spree to Toys R Us in order to celebrate their athletic and academic achievements.

"This year we look forward to joining the community in a fun-filled bowling event that will help make a difference.
