Jared Fogle Brings Message Of Health And Fitness To N.C. State Fair

Raleigh, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/15/2010 -- SUBWAY® restaurants has announced that Jared Fogle, known popularly as “the SUBWAY® Guy” in a series of commercials for the franchise, is scheduled to judge the N.C. State Fair’s Great Fair-A-Thon Challenge on Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. MSA, agency of record for SUBWAY® restaurants and the N.C. State Fair, designed the Fair-A-Thon as a 60-minute scavenger hunt around the fairgrounds, challenging participants to explore new areas, vendors and rides that they may have overlooked in the past.

The Great Fair-A-Thon Challenge will be comprised of 26 weighted stops around the Fairgrounds, five of which are mandatory. The designated stops will be scored on a tiered point system depending on difficulty. The two teams with the highest scores by the end of the hour will make it to the final round, which will be a Family Feud-style trivia round, held at the Waterfall Stage, and emceed by Fogle and Mike Morse of G105-FM’s “The Showgram” morning radio show. The trivia will be specific to the Fair, North Carolina and agriculture, based on surveys posed in advance to N.C. State Fair fans.
