Auburn Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks to Battle for the SEC Championship Title

According to the Washington Post, old rivals Auburn Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks will be facing each other once again for the final showdown at the 2010 SEC Championship Game. In a news report it was stated that the battle taking place on the 4th December 2010 will mark as the 108th encounter between the two teams.

The title match taking place at the Georgia Dome Stadium will be the 108th faceoff between the two teams.

In a recent press conference, Gamecocks coach, Steve Spurrier said, “We’re fired up and excited to be in the game”. Talking about their historic rivalry he stated, “I think we have a good, healthy rivalry. The players respect each other and its going to be a clean, hard-fought game”.

While talking to the media Auburn Tigers coach, Gene Chizik said, “We are currently playing our best game. It’s comforting to know that no matter what the situation, we have the ability and the confidence to be able to come back and win a game.” When asked about their familiar foe he stated, “No doubt South Carolina is playing their best football of the year and it’s going to be a huge challenge for us, but my players are determined and ready for any kind of confrontation”.

The approaching game between the Auburn Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks has got the fans extremely excited.
