Award-Winning 2011 Kia Optima on Sale at Salazar Kia

The 2011 Kia Optima, available at Salazar Kia, is a NHTSA five star safety award winner and one of Inside Line’s Most Wanted.

Avondale, AZ -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/04/2011 -- The 2011 Kia Optima recently received a five star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Earlier in the year, the midsize sedan was also named one of the “Most Wanted” cars by Inside Line. The award-winning 2011 Kia Optima is currently available at Salazar Kia.

When the Optima received its NHTSA five star rating, it became the first Korean-built vehicle to receive the highest possible score of five stars overall. This feat is even more impressive considering the U.S. government recently introduced more stringent crash-test evaluations than had been used in previous years.

All vehicles are evaluated in front, rear, side impact, and rollover tests. Some of the Optima’s features that helped it earn five stars in each crash test include front active head restraints, height-adjustable seat belts, three-point seat belts, LATCH child seat securing system, six standard airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, antilock brakes, electronic stability control, and traction control.

The 2011 Optima was also recognized by Inside Line as one of the most wanted cars. The list was chosen by the editors as the cars they like the best, want to buy themselves, and remember driving, even through countless test drives of other vehicles. The sedan won a spot on the list for having an impressive fuel economy, yet plenty of power. The editors also liked that “It’s an affordable family car that looks, feels, and drives a class higher.”

Salazar Kia is excited to offer customers such a highly sought-after sedan. The 2011 Kia Optima is currently available at the Avondale, Arizona Kia dealership.
