T.Wong is looking for sponsors to help him raise $3,000 via Kickstarter to complete his upcoming album “Journey.” This album is about helping people overcome their fears and inhibitions.
Columbus, OH -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/06/2014 -- Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, T.Wong has decided to pursue his love and passion for music. His new album ‘Journey’ will be an urban rustic sound that will comprise of a large variety of live instrumentation including upright bass, grand piano, acoustic guitar, and percussion. Through this album, T.Wong will take his audience through parts of his own journey and provide them an opportunity to reflect on their own.
‘Journey’ is much more than just a music album for T.Wong. Through this musical venture, he is living his passion – providing others a listening experience through which they can reflect. Unfortunately, he does not have enough money to do it all by himself. This is the reason he is appealing for funding assistance through Kickstarter. Through this campaign, he is looking for sponsors that will help him reach a minimum funding of $3,000 or more by November 30.
All funds raised through Kickstarter will be spent on production, engineering, distribution, etc. If more than $3,000 is raised, the additional funds will be used for live recordings, engineers, mixing and mastering, instrumentalists, graphic/album design, distribution, promotion, intellectual property fees, photography and videography.
The biggest challenge for T.Wong towards successful completion of this project is to balance his full time obligations to devote the time and finances required for the completion of his album. Another challenge is that he doesn’t have any reputation or key benefactors to help him complete his musical journey. By reaching the funding budget of $3,000 within the stipulated time, T.Wong hopes to be able to complete the album in May 2015.
