North Richland Hills, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/07/2014 -- While you do pay for a seat when you fly, they don't give you a brand new seat to sit in. With so many people sitting in a seat over time, it's bound to become a problem with germ transmittal. People from all over the world are able to fly to other regions. Sometimes, they are flying with diseases, which can spread without personal contact. The seat and the tray table are two main areas that travelers come into contact with for the minutes or hours of their flight. This caused Ft. Worth resident Mandi Hamlin some concerns, so she went to work designing TravelSlip.

With TravelSlip, travelers can cover the germ-infested chair and place a cover over the tray table. This amounts to staying safe and well while flying. When their flight is over, they can take their items with them and wash them before using them again.

Researchers recently tested various airplane surfaces and found MRSA and E coli. These are two troubling diseases. They have been rumored to stay on the surfaces for up to 96 hours.

Hamlin is a new entrepreneur, but she's often found inventive solutions to problems and challenges. Her adventure into the TravelSlip barrier solution is to the gain of many who have boarded a plane and hoped for the best.

The success of this campaign will help bring the product to mass production.
