Weight management was led by Nupo A/S in 2013 with value share of 38%. Nupo is the leading player in meal replacement slimming, the biggest product area in weight management, and the one showing the most stable growth pattern. Meal replacement slimming is developing into a mainstream product with high consumer trust, a wide consumer base and a distribution in established channels. Since 2012, Nupo witnessed increased competition as Cederroth and Axellus chose to launch their meal replacement slimming products in grocery retailers. This led to a minor decline in Nupo's share.
