Today we released an updated version of the SBWire service to improve functionality and resolve some outstanding issues.

Along with this release, we have changed the names of our press release distribution packages to clarify their features and to distinguish them from their supported options.

The former “Local Distribution” package will now be known as the “Sliver” package.

The former “Statewide Distribution” package will now be known as the “Gold” package.

The former “Regional Distribution” package will now be known as the “Platinum” package.

Pricing for the paid press release distribution packages has not changed. We did add some additional targeting options to the Silver and Platinum packages.

Here is a summary of the changes we made today:

• We distributing a press release, the SEO features and GEO tagging features are now available to SBWire Basic members if they choose a paid press release distribution package.
• HTML links will now be stripped from press releases when submitted with the basic web listing option. SBWire Plus members, SBWire Pro members and SBWire Basic members who choose a paid press release distribution package may include HTML links within their press release.
• The web preview feature is now offered to SBWire Basic customers who choose a paid press release distribution package.
• Some press releases were not displayed in the main page of the account manager. This issue has been resolved. Additionally, we added a “Manage Press Releases” button which takes you to the press release manager.
