Palmer Trinity School Eco Club participated in National Public Lands Day by removing exotic species and trash from Black Point Park and Marina. Some of the pollution at Black Point Marina has been there since Hurricane Andrew! Students removed Brazilian Pepper trees, an exotic species that inhabit the mangroves and prevent their growth. After a hard day of work, the students collected four tires and four bags of trash, providing a cleaner environment for visitors and native plant and animal species.

Palmer Trinity School proudly announces new appointments to its Board of Trustees, Jeffrey S. Bass, Esq., Sonia Escobio O'Donnell, Esq., and Harvey B. Sperling. In addition, Jack Brumbaugh has been named Trustee Emeritus.

Palmer Trinity School (PTS) students just returned from volunteering on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation through Simply Smiles, a not-for-profit that helps provide a brighter future for impoverished families and their communities, on its summer service trip.

The Silver Knight Awards recognize extraordinary students who go beyond the classroom to unselfishly contribute significant service to their schools and communities. This prestigious award is only presented to 15 students in Miami-Dade County and 15 students in Broward County.

As a pillar of the Episcopal faith and the wife of an Episcopal priest, Jan serves the community as a shining example of how to live one's faith in everyday life. She has unselfishly led community service efforts and left a positive impression on the lives of students and colleagues alike," expressed Patrick Roberts, Head of School.

This is the third consecutive year that Palmer Trinity School earns the Top Independent School Award. This award is given to the top scoring independent or private school for the hard work of its students and staff in designing and implementing energy and environmental solutions at their schools.

Adam Block, a junior at Palmer Trinity School and founder of the South Florida Fund for Retired Law Enforcement K-9s, was awarded a grant for the amount of $10,000 from the Petco Foundation. He was presented the check at the K-9 Police Memorial on May 7th.

Palmer Trinity School recently hosted the largest gathering of global secondary educators at the Third Annual Global Educators Conference. The conference, sponsored by the Global Education Benchmark Group (GEBG), took place on April 24-25. More than 230 were in attendance from around the world.

Last night, educators from around the world attended the opening cocktail reception for the Third Annual Global Educators Conference at Coral Gables Museum.
