Palmer Trinity School Eco Club Cleans Up Black Point Park and Marina

LogoPalmer Trinity School Eco Club participated in National Public Lands Day by removing exotic species and trash from Black Point Park and Marina. Some of the pollution at Black Point Marina has been there since Hurricane Andrew! Students removed Brazilian Pepper trees, an exotic species that inhabit the mangroves and prevent their growth. After a hard day of work, the students collected four tires and four bags of trash, providing a cleaner environment for visitors and native plant and animal species.

Palmer Trinity School Eleventh Grade Student Receives $10,000 Grant for K-9 Non-Profit Organization

LogoAdam Block, a junior at Palmer Trinity School and founder of the South Florida Fund for Retired Law Enforcement K-9s, was awarded a grant for the amount of $10,000 from the Petco Foundation. He was presented the check at the K-9 Police Memorial on May 7th.
