About Disturbed
Disturbed formed as a band during 1996 in their hometown of Chicago. Lead singer, David Draiman, joined members of the band Brawl. Shortly after they renamed the band to Disturbed. In 2000 they released their debut studio album, The Sickness. In 2005 the band released Ten Thousand Fists. That album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 charts. Three albums later, in the winter of 2015 they released Immortalized. That album featured the cover of Sound of Silence. That song crossed over into audiences that had never heard of Disturbed. This included Paul Simon from Simon and Garfunkle. He was very impressed with the way the song was recreated. Over the course of their career they have release seven albums. They have won seven awards including Rock Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year and Best Rock Video.
