Parkville, Australia -- (ReleaseWire) -- 02/13/2014 --Prof. Mark Ashton, plastic and reconstructive surgeon at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, announced that his  Renew  rejuvenation and plastic surgery clinic offers a full line of the latest injectable and laser treatments, including the Fraxel® laser system. Treatment with the Fraxel® laser is the standard for addressing wrinkles, age and sun spots, and melisma, commonly referred to as “the mask of pregnancy”.

The clinic is the premier destination for a discerning, international clientele who value beauty and demand the safest, most effective methods possible. Renew offers anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and lip enhancements. Fraxel® treatments are effective for skin resurfacing, treating acne and minimizing surgical scars.

As the body ages, skin loses elasticity and the ability to repair itself adequately. That process is exacerbated by UV rays and an array of pollutants that bombard skin each day. The result is fine lines, wrinkles and imperfections that make individuals appear older than their chronological age.

Fraxel® laser treatments are the preferred method for individuals that don’t want the extended recuperation periods required by surgical solutions. Fraxel® laser treatments are non-invasive and can be utilized on virtually any part of the body where dark patches have formed due to sun damage or hormonal changes.

The scaly growths of actinic keratosis, a pre-cancerous condition, can be treated with the Fraxel® system and the laser treatments have been cleared by the FDA for gentle resurfacing of skin for a smoother, more youthful looking appearance. The Fraxel® laser marks a major advancement for treating acne and surgical scars, along with skin indentations.

Anti-wrinkle injections at Renew utilize a natural protein that’s biocompatible with the patient to target areas where lines and wrinkles appear. The new technique eliminates the paralysis and frozen look that’s common with old-fashioned methods. Anti-wrinkle injections last from 4 to 6 months.

Many patients at the Renew clinic benefit from dermal fillers to contour the face for a more youthful appearance. Dermal fillers are effective for camouflaging wrinkles, skin indentations and areas of the face that deflate and look flat as skin ages.

Full, luscious lips are a timeless indication of a sexy vibrant woman. Patients at Renew can enjoy the benefits of lip enhancement injections to balance the size and look of both lips, augment the center portion of the lip, and fill out lips that have thinned and developed lines from aging. A bright smile and the lips that frame it is one of the first features others notice. The treatments at Renew use natural ingredients and an alternative to collagen injections.

The practice is located at Suite A, Level 2 of the Frances Perry Consulting Suites at the corner of Grattan St. and Flemington Rd. in Parkville. Hours of operation at the Renew rejuvenation clinic is 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The services offered by Prof. Ashton at the Renew clinic offer individuals of any age with the latest techniques and technological advancements to assist them in attaining a more youthful appearance. The Fraxel® laser provides patients with the ability to erase lines and wrinkles, look younger, and boost confidence. Renew is the new destination for skin rejuvenation in Melbourne and locales around the world for those who value beautiful, youthful looking skin.

The practice can be reached by phone at 03 9344 5050, via email with the convenient form on the website or by FAX at 03 9344 5133. For more information, visit the website at  http://renew.net.au
