It does not require any cooking, just pulling from the fridge and rolling it is sufficient. Its convenience is incomparable. It makes rolling easy by providing the right stickiness without leaving behind any leftover rice or mess.

RiceWrap Foods has been producing Slice of Rice™ for over a year, supplying numerous five star Chefs and locations (even sky boxes at sport venues!) through food service channels. The packaging for these channels does not require eye catching boxes, product just needs to perform and it does.

Retail is a different game and RiceWrap Foods realizes that with the proper marketing, branding and packaging, Slice of Rice™ can become the household item they predict it will be. This team’s experience in production, their trained employees and logistic personnel are capable and ready to take Slice of Rice™ to the retail marketplace. They are positioned with tried and true procedures and have full confidence in their capabilities.

Half of targeted backer money will be spent on marketing, graphics and final design of boxes. The retail boxes will hold 3 rice sheets, enough for 24 to 30 rolls, depending on how thick the rolls are sliced. A shipper case is also being designed for bulk purchasers, such as the Club Stores, 9 - 12 rice sheets, bundled. Initial marketing tools for brokers will be provided and the focus group feedback will be instrumental for a successful retail campaign.

The other half of the funds raised will be used for a semi-automatic Cartoner (retail box filling machine) and to purchase the first run of boxes (they are using recycled packaging).

This project will only be funded if at least $68,000 is pledged by Mon, Jul 14 2014 9:30 AM +05:30.
