DIY Electronics Maker Launches Kickstarter Campaign, Earns Praise

Just Hours After Launch, ProtoPalette™ Wins "Kickstarter Staff Pick" Honor As Funding Ramps Up

Orinda, CA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 09/16/2014 --Created by Inventor Karl Alexius and "CoasterDad" Will Pemble, ProtoPaletteā„¢ helps people create electronics with the popular Arduino micro-controller development board. Based on a simple combination of a printed circuit board, solderless connectors and a series of velcro pads, ProtoPalette allows users to organize, setup, and test electronics ideas quickly and easily.

"I takes so much mental energy to organize a simple electronics project that most people quit before they build what they envisioned," says ProtoPalette co-founder Will Pemble. "Because it is difficult - especially for inventor types - to stay focused on their creative vision and get things done, most Arduino projects die in a pile of unused, misunderstood components."

Launched as a Kickstarter project on September 10, 2014, ProtoPalette quickly garnered the coveted "Staff Pick" distinction on Kickstarter.com. "The Staff PIck from Kickstarter is a great validation," stated ProtoPalette co-founder Karl Alexius. "This idea has been in my head for years. Sharing it on Kickstarter is an amazing feeling."
