ReneSola Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE: SOL), a global manufacturer of solar wafers and producer of solar power products based in China, is up sharply in mid-day trading today, extending its gains for the week. SOL is gaining today after report that China plans to increase its solar installations in 2013. Earlier this week, SOL had also announced that its Virtus module topped PHOTON International’s December rankings.
At last check, SOL was trading 4.23% higher at $1.97 on volume of 1.36 million, which is well above the daily average volume of 897,161. The stock has gained more than 7% for the week.
