New York, NY -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/08/2013 --Exelon Corporation (NYSE:EXC) subsidiary Commonwealth Edison Company (ComEd) announced today that Bill Whitman, Jr. has joined ComEd as vice president of communications. He is responsible for developing communications strategies and overseeing internal and external communications, brand and advertising activities.

MetroPCS Communications, Inc. (NYSE:PCS) earlier this week mailed a letter to stockholders in connection with its proposed combination with T-Mobile USA, Inc. The letter describes the significant benefits to MetroPCS' stockholders resulting from the proposed combination of MetroPCS and T-Mobile and addresses certain assumptions that ISS based its report on, leading to the wrong conclusions regarding the proposed combination.
The MetroPCS Communications, Inc.’s special meeting of stockholders to vote on the proposed combination with T-Mobile USA, Inc. is less than two weeks away, on Friday, April 12, 2013.
The letter stated that The MetroPCS board unanimously recommends that stockholders vote their shares FOR all of the proposals relating to the proposed combination by returning the GREEN proxy card with a FOR vote for all proposals.
Dallas-based MetroPCS Communications, Inc. is a provider of no annual contract, unlimited wireless communications service for a flat-rate.
