New Market Research Report: Sugar Confectionery in Peru
In 2013 sugar confectionery is recovering from the shrinkage experienced in 2012 because consumers favoured other categories offering healthier alternatives. In the case of sugar confectionery, most categories lost share to sugar free gum. It is expected that sugar confectionery will continue growing, boosted by the expansion of the economy, but it is expected to show very moderate growth, smaller than the growth projected for the whole economy.
