New Market Study, "Personal Care Appliances in Taiwan", Has Been Published
Personal care appliances posted slightly stronger volume growth in 2013 compared with the previous year, due to the rising beauty trend that was increasingly apparent in Taiwan. Television variety shows featuring beauty tips and tricks as well as frequent celebrity features on fashion and beauty helped to strengthen image-consciousness among both males and females, and younger and older consumers. A widening product range of personal care appliances and new product innovation further drove sales for the category in 2013.
