Precious Metals Mining in Mexico to 2020, New Report Launched
Mexico was the second-largest gold mine producer after Peru in Latin America in 2014, and the world's eighth-largest gold producing country. Forecast gold mine production in 2014 was 3.5 million ounces, up by 1.5% over 2013. According to the USGS, Mexico with 18% of the global silver mine production was the world's largest silver mine producer in 2014, producing an estimated 186.5 million ounces, up by 8.8% over 2013.
