At the end of 2012, Alimentos Polar opened a manufacturing plant for yoghurt in association with the Spanish group Leche Pascual and launched the migurt brand, in both dinking and spoonable formats. The manufacturing plant opened in Venezuela is the first opened by the Spanish group outside Spain; a fact that evidences the growth potential of yoghurt in the country.
