Eyewear in Italy: New Research Report Available at Fast Market Research
As the Italian economy continued to struggle with the effects of the economic downturn as well as severe political difficulties in 2013, consumer confidence and spending remained low. This particularly impacted sales of non-essential goods and expensive goods, including sunglasses and spectacle frames. As a result, sales of eyewear registered significant volume and value sale declines for the second year in a row in 2013.
