New Market Study, "Consumer Health in Austria", Has Been Published
Overall, consumer health posted a strong performance in terms of value sales in 2013. With increasing willingness among Austrians to self-medicate and a readiness to self-diagnose, growth was noticeable across the entire consumer health industry. While digestive remedies, emergency contraception, eye care and antihistamines/allergy remedies saw the best performance in terms of value growth, weight management was the only major category to register a value decline in consumer health in 2013.
