Internet Retailing in Romania - New Market Study Published
2013 was a very good year for internet retailing in Romanian with online payments increasing considerably. Although in 2012, for instance, the majority of consumers preferred to order products online while demanding an upon delivery payment, the high level of penetration and the rebound of the Romanian economy strengthened consumers' confidence in online payment methods. Product range diversity was also an important factor that stimulated growth with consumers looking for various promotional advantages.
