The leading player in hosiery was MFH in 2013 with a 29% value share, selling the most popular brands, such as Calzedonia and Intimissimi. Tesco-Global Aruhazak with its private label range also holds a noticeable share of value sales. Although the majority of Hungarians buy hosiery as a necessity product from grocery retailers, open-air markets and Asian stores, the younger generations and those who are keen to follow the latest fashion trends, enrich their collections with Calzedonia and Intimissimi hosiery.
