With the holiday season comes an increased risk of drunk driving incidents on roadways throughout New Jersey. Intoxicated drivers aren't the only ones held responsible for causing accidents and injuries; party hosts can also be held legally liable if a drunk driver leaves their event and gets into a crash. The Camden County auto accident attorneys at The Law Offices of Vincent J. Ciecka, P.C. advise individuals who plan to host parties between Thanksgiving and the New Year's holiday to take precautionary measures to protect themselves and their guests from danger.

Medical professionals are expected to be professionals in their field and trusted to provide proper medical care to their patients. However, this is not always the case. When doctors are negligent, fail to diagnose an illness or prescribe correct medications, or make serious errors during surgery, patients can experience critical medical injuries and complications, as well as extended hospital stays and costly medical bills. When such mistakes happen, victims of medical malpractice and their families can consult with the medical malpractice lawyers in Berks County and Schuylkill County, PA, at Liever, Hyman & Potter, P.C., in order to seek appropriate compensation for what they have endured and been through as a result of medical negligence.

Under the PA Workers' Compensation Act, injured workers are entitled to appropriate and timely workers' compensation medical benefits and wage loss benefits. However, employers often times deny or improperly delay workers' comp claims and the payment of work comp benefits to which an injured worker is entitled, or they may improperly and illegally stop or reduce payments, leaving families without necessary financial support.
