Kerr Drug, the community pharmacy that’s been a leader in pharmacist administration of flu vaccinations, is taking its immunization campaign to the North Carolina State Fair. Kerr Drug is the official pharmacy of the 2009 N.C. State Fair and will provide seasonal flu shots on site at their booth at the fairgrounds. Kerr Drug, the community pharmacy that pioneered the training of clinical pharmacists to administer vaccines to patients, is making seasonal flu shots available at two of North Carolina’s largest local fairs as well as the NC State Fair, to meet the growing demand for flu shots. Kerr Drug launched its immunizing campaign in early September.
