KENNETH R. SAUNDERS, III, a long-time public servant and 30-year resident of DeKalb County, announces his bid to run for Commissioner of DeKalb's 5th district. Saunders was appointed and faithfully served on the DeKalb Community Council for 15 years. In addition, he has held elected roles with his neighborhood civic association, the Hidden Hills Civic Association, for more than 12 years. A special election is being held on June 16, 2015, to fill the vacant commissioner seat.
