Sovereign Health of Palm Desert to Launch New P.R.I.M.E. Program

The Personal Recovery Integrating Men’s Experiences (P.R.I.M.E.) program is being developed to provide a supportive and safe recovery environment designed to meet the specific issues facing men over the age of 40. The P.R.I.M.E program, which provides treatment for behavioral health and addiction disorders, creates a healing community that fosters recovery and promotes the transition to a sober lifestyle.

Sovereign Health Announces New Transgender Identity Treatment Feature in Psychology Today

LogoSovereign Health announces the publication of a new article in Psychology Today profiling its new Gender Diversity and Transgender Identity service being offered at Sovereign Health’s Rancho San Diego facility. The service, which was launched to meet the needs of the growing number of transgender youth, provides a safe and accepting treatment milieu for adolescents with a mental health or dual diagnosis who identify as gender diverse or transgender. The July/August edition of Psychology Today, on newsstands Tuesday, July 5, spotlights Sovereign Health of Rancho San Diego’s Gender Diversity and Transgender Identity service that supports adolescents with nonconforming gender identity, while they receive treatment for primary substance abuse, dual diagnosis, eating disorder or mental health issues.

Sovereign Health of San Clemente Launches Next Step Initiative

LogoSovereign Health of San Clemente is proud to announce the launch of Next Step, a new component of Sovereign Health’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Next Step offers patients individualized plans that focus on academic and career motivation, providing resources to help them re-enter the workforce. Sovereign Health counselors help patients assess their educational and career goals, build their resumes, and provide interview preparation. In addition, patients engage in life skill groups and workshops.

Sovereign Health Offers June Continuing Education Opportunities

These courses meet the qualifications for one hour of C.E. credit required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), and are approved for one contact hour by the California Board of Registered Nursing.

Sovereign Health of San Clemente Now Offers Nutritionally Assisted Detox Services

Sovereign Health of Los Angeles to Launch Rock to Recovery Program

Rock to Recovery, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Huntington Beach, California, has partnered with Sovereign Health to offer patients a creative way to express their emotions through music. Founded in 2012, Rock to Recovery patients write and record songs with the organization’s staff of professional musicians. The Rock to Recovery program is scheduled to open at Sovereign Health of Los Angeles in June 2016.

Sovereign Health of San Clemente Offers Nutritionally-Assisted Detox Services

Sovereign Health of San Diego Announces Open House to Launch New Eating Disorder Program

LogoSovereign Health of San Diego is set to host an open house in May, introducing the addition of the Eating Disorder Program to their facility.  The event, which will take place on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., will be open to the public. The open house will include special presentations by Anthony Mele, Psy.D., Chief Clinical Officer; Janet Whitney, M.A., LMFT, Director of the San Clemente Eating Disorder Program; and Jade Recchia, RDN, Registered Dietician.  Lunch will be provided, as well opportunities to network and meet with the program staff. LogoThe Sovereign Health Career Fair is still accepting reservations to the Orange County event taking place on Saturday, April 23, 2016. The career fair, which takes place from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., will be held at the Hotel Irvine.  Sovereign Health is looking to fill multiple positions, including project managers, patient advocates, legal assistants, sales consultants, inside sales representatives, clinical coordinators, and executive assistants.
