Sovereign Health of Los Angeles is pleased to announce the opening of two new detox centers. These centers, the first-ever detox facilities for the Los Angeles facility, are licensed for residential detox through the Department of Health Care Services. The six-bed detox centers will treat men and women suffering from a wide array of alcohol and drug addiction, including dependence on benzodiazepines and opiates.

The Sovereign Health Group is pleased to participate in the 6th Western Conference on Behavioral Health and Addictive Disorders this month. The conference will be held from Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, to Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, at The Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa, located at 900 Newport Center Dr., Newport Beach, California. During the event, a Sovereign Health booth and staff will be available to inform attendees about the wide range of services offered by Sovereign Health, both locally and nationally.

The Sovereign Health Group recently moved to an upgraded facility in Palm Desert. To commemorate this transition and the launch of Sovereign Health Palm Desert, a treatment facility specializing in mental health, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 39800 Portola Ave., Palm Desert, California. The Sovereign Health Group is pleased to welcome Adrienne Stratton to its team as Outreach Director. In this role, she will be in charge of informing professionals and advocates in the behavioral health field of the services Sovereign Health offers nationwide. Ms. Stratton has over 25 years of experience working in the field of substance abuse treatment and looks forward to using her expertise in outreach marketing and business development to support Sovereign Health's various projects. The Sovereign Health Group will host a number of continuing education (C.E.) events at its various Southern California locations and online during the month of October. All of these courses meet the qualifications for one hour of continuing education credit required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), and are approved for one contact hour by the California Board of Registered Nursing.

As a Silver Sponsor for the 5K walk taking place October 3 in Los Angeles's Grand Park, Sovereign will have a booth onsite along with an outreach consultant to provide information and materials detailing Sovereign's services.

Sovereign Health has invited an elite group of treatment experts to introduce unique perspectives and related practices at our September Continuing Education (C.E.) events.  The events will be held at Sovereign Health's facilities throughout California locations and also will be available online.
