(Dallas Contracting) was tasked with the dismantlement and removal of eleven (11) steel, above ground storage tanks (both vertical and horizontal) and all related steel piping and valves. The tanks had been pre-cleaned by the owner and all asbestos containing materials had also been abated.

Dallas Contracting Co., Inc. Completes Barn Salvage Operation in Southern New Jersey

Dallas Contracting Co., Inc. (Dallas Contracting) was tasked with the demolition of the 3,500 square foot barn along with a house and some other minor outlying structures. Instead of demolishing the structure and disposing of the wood materials as debris, Dallas Contracting chose to carefully dismantled the barn in an attempt to salvage as much of the structure as possible. Salvaged items included framing materials, rafters, studs, girts and tie beams. In addition, some doors and miscellaneous materials were also salvaged. Approximately 70% of the barn structure was salvaged thus saving the client money as well as saving valuable landfill space. The wood materials will be sold as salvaged wood for re-use.

Dallas Contracting Co., Inc. was contracted by Essroc Italcementi Group (Essroc) to demolish sixteen (16) cement and sand storage silos, several outlying buildings and also excavate out an area of property containing basements and foundations from former buildings and structures at the Essroc Cement Plant in Martinsburg, West Virginia. A portion of the plant needed to be demolished prior to Essroc’s planned site renovation, representing a total investment of $320 million. Essroc is a leading North American cement producer headquartered in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, with an annual capacity of 7 million metric tons. Essroc is a member of Italcementi Group, one of the largest cement producers in the world, based in Bergamo, Italy.
