Expedition Guides make sure that guests are a part of the expedition, engaged by our educational activities and entertained by the experience of a day at the Field Station. Expedition Guides will assist in activities such as arts and crafts, front gate procedure, the Paleo Laboratory and more. Applicants should be enthusiastic and excited to learn more about dinosaurs. This role is a part-time, seasonal role.

Hydraulic Studio has completed a large video project for a luxury pool construction company in Oklahoma City. The video featured extensive underwater video of wave and play action. The shoot also captured customer testimonials and aerial drone video of the luxury subdivisions with emphasis on "beautiful approaches" to homes and the pools.

Hydraulic Studio has completed an industrial training video involving heavy machinery to be used in dramatically reducing accidents for the client company. The shoot occurred in Austin, Texas. The video will be used nationally.

Engineering students from KU School of Engineering traveled to Wichita with their newest racecar creation to show the staff at Superior Tool Service. The racecar was on display at Superior Tool Service as a way for the students to show their gratitude to the company for supporting them with their project.

A new pistol target competition will crown Wichita's Best Shot. The event is the first of it's kind in Wichita, and will have open qualifying rounds throughout the month of May. Qualifying rounds are conducted at the host range, Thunderbird Firearms Academy located at 2831 N Greenwich Rd, just North of K-96. Thunderbird Firearms Academy will be hosting a four-day, 40-hour immersion course for armed law-abiding private citizens on May 18-21, starting at 8:30 a.m. The class is $800 and attendees must have a basic understanding of firearms.
